Langdon Farms
Located 15 miles south of downtown Portland, Oregon off Interstate 5, the pastoral theme and championship golf course creatively blends with the beautiful Willamette Valley countryside. Over the years local, regional and even national golf writers have consistently recognized us as a truly unique golf experience. Designed by award-winning architects John Fought and Robert Cupp, this golf facility is open, as displayed at the entrance, to the “PUBLIC ONLY”, and Langdon also specializes in hosting tournaments, corporate outings, weddings and special events.
Sandelie Golf Course
Bordering Wilsonville to the east, between I-5 and 205, is Sandelie Golf Course. Offering reasonably priced greens fees, wide open fairways and old growth trees, it’s a wonderful fit for both new golfers and seasoned ones. Opened almost 50 years ago, it’s a family owned hidden jewel and local landmark. Nestled at the base of Pete’s Mountain, with beautiful sunset views, it’s sure to please golfers of all skill levels, and their pocket books.
Charbonneau Golf Club
Originally designed and built in 1975 by Ted Robinson Sr., the course is a fully-maintained 27-hole golf course with fairways that are rolling, generous and lush. Each 9-hole side, named Red, Yellow & Green, consists of four Par 4s and five Par 3s. Traditional to its type, the Par 4s are short, some of which are reachable for longer hitters. The Par 3s are notably long and will challenge all. Throughout the entire course, they average out at 180-190 yards from white to blue tees.
Magness Tree Farm
Located approximately 4 miles south of Old Town Sherwood and 10 minutes west of 1-5 Wilsonville exit 283, Magness Memorial Tree Farm is now an internationally recognized demonstration forest and outdoor education site enjoyed by thousands of visitors each year. Land for this unique educational project was donated to the non-profit World Forestry Center in 1977 by generous local residents Howard and Panzy Magness. Additional lands have been donated by the Robert Heater Family.
This beautiful 80-acre property has a large natural area, small stream, nine comparative forest management zones, 2.5 miles of hiking trails, recreation field, small picnic shelter, and rustic log cabins for youth group overnight camping, outdoor schools, and retreats.
Leashed dogs are welcome at the property.
Family Fun Center & Bullwinkle’s Restaurant
The Wilsonville Family Fun Center & Bullwinkle’s Restaurant is centrally located between Portland & Salem, has plenty to offer the young (or young-at-heart) and is open year-round rain or shine! Outdoor attractions include Go-Karts, Miniature Golf, 28’ Rock Wall, Sky Trail Ropes Course, and Batting Cages & Bumper Boats. Also outdoors is the all-new, only-one-in-Oregon Soaring Eagle Zip Line. The Soaring Eagle Zip Line takes two flyers 75 feet into the air along a 400 foot cable in both directions at speeds of 30MPH and Darren says you have to come check it out.
Wilsonville is home to over 120 acres of public parks! Scattered throughout you will find hiking trails, river walks, wooded paths, bridges and wide-open spaces.
Boones Ferry Park
The former location of Boones Ferry that crossed the Willamette River for 107 years. The Tauchman House is a turn-of-the-century historic house used by the city. A trail under the Boone bridge connects Boones Ferry Park to Memorial Park.
Graham Oaks Natural Area
Three miles of trails let you choose your adventure. Watch for native wildlife such as white-breasted nuthatches, Western bluebirds, orange-crowned warblers and Western gray squirrels. Five plazas make ideal spots to rest, reflect and learn about Graham Oaks’ history, from Kalapuyan tribes who gathered food to the family that farmed the land. Explore beyond the park on the regional Ice Age Tonquin Trail.
Memorial Park
Memorial Park is the City’s oldest and largest park, and Wilsonville’s center for active outdoor recreation and organized community team sports. The native landscapes of the park provide wonderful opportunities for walking and observing wildlife. Mollala River State Park
This day-use natural park combines a scenic drive, hiking, picnicking, fishing, boating, wildlife viewing and a designated off-leash pet area.682-3727
Murase Plaza
Murase Plaza has become the community’s playground with an interactive water feature, amphitheater and children’s play area.
Town Center Park
This urban park on five acres located in the heart of the city is a popular destination for people of all ages. Town Center Park is home to community concerts and festivals you don’t want to miss.
Willamette River Water Treatment Plant Park
Featuring a spectacular water feature over 500 feet long celebrating the importance of water to the community, this park is a must-see!
