Transitional Youth: a non-profit that works to bring hope and healthy transformation to at-risk youth in Oregon and Washington. It’s estimated there are 500 homeless youth in downtown Portland alone. There are hundreds more across the metro area and even more aging out of foster care and other youth agencies. By providing outreach, support, and housing to homeless and at-risk youth, TY seeks to transform both hearts and lives.
“Fortify House” is a 140-year-old farmhouse on a lovely piece of property located in the Eastern rolling hills of Wilsonville, which has been dedicated to TY’s use for the next 15-years.
Shawn Mitchell of Catalyst NW will be joining us for a VIRTUAL SMYP presentation. Catalyst NW inspires people, builds hope, and nurtures community by mobilizing volunteers to do construction repairs and remodels that benefit under-resourced homeowners and non-profits in and around the Portland Metro Area of Oregon.

Compliance with State mandated COVID-19 protocols has presented a significant challenge for citizens to safely convene and for candidates to campaign. Therefore, key partners (Wilsonville Spokesman and Wilsonville Chamber) have combined forces to create a community-wide/nonpartisan City of Wilsonville Mayor/Council Candidates Forum Virtual Event.
This will be one of the most widely accessible candidate forums in the history of the City of Wilsonville. It will be live-streamed online for anyone to watch (e.g. website, Facebook, and YouTube) and a recorded video will also be available, minutes after the live event concludes.
