With the year winding down, perhaps itโ€™s a good time to take stock of what you have accomplished so far this year, file away the lessons of your successes and failures, and begin thinking about what youโ€™d like to accomplish in the coming year.

If youโ€™ve participated in goal-setting exercises, youโ€™re likely familiar with the acronym SMART. It stands for the characteristics of the elements around which to structure your goalsโ€”Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-bound (or some variation thereof). Wilsonville Chamber Announces Career and Technical Education (CTE) Scholarships WCC Logo Scholarship

The Wilsonville Area Chamber of Commerce (WACC) is pleased to announce the availability of two (2) CTE $1,000 scholarships to Wilsonville graduating seniors. These scholarships are specifically designed for post-high school students planning on attending an accredited vocational-technical school and can be used for tuition, specialized equipment or tools.

The purpose of the WACC Trade & Workforce Scholarship is to address current and future shortages in the regionโ€™s workforce, notably the lack of skilled trades workers. In light of growing demand for middle-skill jobs, vocational training offers a practical alternative to traditional postsecondary degrees.
